Speed Camp for Kids and Teens
June/July School Holidays 2024
For ages 8 – 18 years.
Get faster and learn to run with confidence these school holidays. Improving quickness and agility is Acceleration’s specialty.
Your coach has designed a program to improve your stability, flexibility, speed, agility and running form over the school break. This speed-specific camp will help stay active over the holidays, and hit the ground running for next sporting season.

What’s Involved?
Focus on Your Speed and Agility
Speed and Agility sessions are held at an Acceleration gym near you. We look forward to seeing you there!
Speed Camp Training Sessions Include:
Every session includes different ways to focus on:
- Stability (Deep System and Steering System)
- Dynamic Warm-up (Running Form)
- Speed & Agility (Movement System)
- Recovery
Each day is different and includes a game at the end so, don’t miss out on some awesome sessions
Great for athletes aged 8-18 years old.
The activities during sessions are split up by age group so that athletes get the most out of the camp in terms of exercise education and difficulty.

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
9:00 am – 10:00 am
*Location: Lang Park PCYC, Basketball Court, Level 5. 40 Castlemaine St, Milton. NOTE: This location is different to last holidays.
Parking: Parking undercover off Castlemaine St, Press the button for PCYC on the intercom to enter.
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and one Thursday.
8:00 am – 9:00 am
Location: Anna Mears Velodrome, The Infield, Sleeman Sports Complex, Tilley Rd, Chandler QLD 4155
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Location: Southport State High Sports Centre, Corner Brooke Ave & Lionel Ave, Southport QLD 4215

Cost Per Person
$96 for all 6 sessions OR $24 per session.
Significant discounts apply when multiple people sign up on the same form – Get your friends involved!
What to Bring: A water bottle and wear exercise clothes.
Pair this Camp with STRENGTH CAMP to get the most out of your holidays (ages 12+).
Please note – There are no make-up sessions after the 5th of July if you miss a session.
